Location: Pearland, TX area
Position Summary:Our Client in Pearland, TX is looking for a Technical Customer Support Representative to deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers. This role will serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, order placement, and issue resolution. It will also involve coordinating with various departments such as sales, production, and shipping to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Essential Functions:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email regarding products, services, orders, and complaints.
- Enter and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Provide updates to customers on order status, delays, or changes.
- Prepare and send product or service quotes in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including issues and resolutions.
- Coordinate with finance to help resolve billing questions or discrepancies.
- Identify and escalate unresolved customer concerns when necessary.
- Suggest additional products or services that may benefit customers.
- Monitor the order fulfillment process to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree required
- Scientific or technical background is highly preferred
- 1 year of customer service or related experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with customer service tools or software (CRM, accounting, or order tracking systems) is a plus.
