JOB DESCRIPTION Production Line Operator
Location: Warton County, Texas
Position Summary:
Responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment on a chemical bottling/packaging line to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient production. Follows all safety and quality procedures while supporting continuous workflow and meeting daily production targets.
Essential Functions:
- Operate, adjust, and monitor bottling line equipment (fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, case packers, etc.).
- Perform quality checks on filled containers, caps, labels, lot codes, and packaging to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Set up production line according to batch specifications, including selecting correct bottles, caps, labels, and packaging materials.
- Load raw materials (bottles, caps, boxes) and maintain adequate supply throughout the shift.
- Troubleshoot line stoppages, minor equipment issues, and perform basic mechanical adjustments.
- Complete production logs, lot tracking, and documentation accurately.
- Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures, including use of PPE.
- Assist with line changeovers, cleaning, and sanitization between products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow 5S practices.
- Communicate issues to supervisors, maintenance, and QC promptly.
Qualifications:
- Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Experience in a blending or chemical handling environment is also strongly desired.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, packaging, or a related production environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor adjustments and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, batch sheets, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to product quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Willingness to work with chemicals using appropriate PPE and safety practices.

- Temp hire
Shift Schedule:
Monday Friday 7am-3pm
Must be willing to work OT as needed based on work loads
Salary:
$15/hr
