Duties
- Lead and supervise construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and safety standards
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to coordinate all phases of construction
- Manage project budgets, perform cost estimating, and monitor expenditures to ensure financial efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality control and compliance with contractual obligations
- Conduct site inspections regularly to ensure safety protocols are followed in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Ohmmeter for project documentation, measurement verification, and quality assurance
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and project progress
- Supervise on-site construction activities, providing leadership in managing schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of workmanship
- We have a maintenance division and landscape doing both residential and large commercial projects in multiple cities in a multiple States.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in managing large-scale projects
- Extensive knowledge of construction site operations including safety procedures aligned with OSHA standards
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other industry tools
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimating with attention to detail
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and resource management
- Familiarity with contracts management and negotiation skills for subcontractor agreements
- Hands-on experience working on active construction sites with a solid understanding of heavy equipment use and technical measurements using tools like Ohmmeter
