What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Set-Up Machinist position at Laborup Manufacturing?
Job Summary
Are you a machinist who thrives on complexity rather than repetition? We are looking for a high-skill CNC Set-Up Machinist (Turning) to join our Rochester-based precision manufacturing hub.
Unlike "button-pusher" roles, this position grants you full autonomy over the machining process. You aren't just running a machine; you are the architect of the part—taking technical drawings from the world’s most demanding industries (Space, Defense, and MedTech) and turning them into reality. If you take pride in holding tolerances of ±0.0001” and want to work in an environment that values technical mastery over high-volume monotony, this is your next step.
