Process Improvement Analyst

Time Study Professional

Pay: $25/Hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Time Study Professional to evaluate production processes and improve operational efficiency. In this role, you will conduct time and motion studies, analyze workflows, and establish accurate labor standards. Your insights will directly contribute to productivity improvements, cost reduction, and streamlined operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies using direct observation, stopwatch timing, and video analysis
• Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and unnecessary motion
• Develop and maintain accurate time standards for tasks and processes
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
• Create detailed reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
• Collaborate with production managers, engineers, and operations teams
• Train employees on new processes and efficiency improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with time and motion study techniques
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Familiarity with workflow optimization and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations

Work Environment

• Primarily on-site in production or operational settings
• May require standing, observing, and interacting on the production floor
