Inventory Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Staff Accountant (Manufacturing) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience in managing inventory and cost accounting processes that keep our financial systems precise.

What You’ll Do:

• Reconcile raw material, WIP, and finished-goods inventory accounts
• Review daily production, consumption, and scrap reporting
• Perform monthly physical-to-book reconciliations and variance analysis
• Partner with production to analyze yield, usage, and standard costs
• Support month-end close: journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Collaborate across operations, quality, and supply-chain teams to improve accuracy and reduce waste

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
• Familiarity with GAAP, inventory valuation (FIFO/standard costing), and COGS
• Strong Excel and ERP skills (NetSuite a plus)
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
