Bartender – Hotel Restaurant Position
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and guest-focused Bartender for a hotel restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional beverage service, maintain high hospitality standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for hotel guests and restaurant visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner while delivering excellent customer service.
- Take beverage orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.
- Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, storage spaces, and service stations.
- Prepare garnishes, mixers, syrups, and bar ingredients before and during service.
- Restock liquor, wine, beer, glassware, and supplies throughout shifts.
- Recommend cocktails, wines, and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and professionally resolve concerns or special requests.
- Collaborate with restaurant and hotel staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
- Assist with inventory management and report shortages when necessary.
- Support banquet events, private functions, and special hotel events as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine service, spirits, beer, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with POS systems and handling cash/card transactions.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
- Alcohol service certification and/or Food Handler certification preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/restock bar supplies when needed.
