Diesel Shop Manager

Labor Finders is hiring a Diesel Shop Manager in Alexandria, LA for a full-time, direct-hire position, Monday–Friday on the day shift. Benefits are available after the probationary period. We’re looking for a hands-on leader with diesel repair experience to supervise mechanics, manage maintenance, and keep shop operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanics and oversee daily shop operations.
• Coordinate diesel repairs, troubleshooting, and emergency field support.
• Manage preventive maintenance, work orders, and repair records.
• Oversee inventory, repair invoices, and mechanic payroll.
• Ensure DOT compliance and monitor repair costs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous shop management or supervisory experience.
• Strong diesel repair and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Working knowledge of DOT maintenance regulations.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills; must pass a drug screen.
