Position Overview
The Certified Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, load, and unload products within the facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or other forklift models as required
Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and staging areas
Transport products to designated locations within the warehouse
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
Maintain accurate inventory and documentation using warehouse management systems
Follow OSHA, company, and site-specific safety procedures at all times
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required)
Minimum of one year experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment handling
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Basic computer or scanner proficiency preferred
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team
