Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Events Assistant to join our events coordination team in Austin, TX. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy fast-paced, hands-on work and are eager to grow in the events or operations field. You will assist with event planning, coordination, and on-site execution to help ensure every event runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and organizing event logistics including setup, schedules, and supplies.
- Support event coordinators with staffing assignments and vendor communication.
- Help manage event check-ins, materials, and registration areas.
- Ensure that event spaces are properly prepared, organized, and maintained.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to clients, guests, and team members.
- Track inventory, assist with equipment organization, and handle basic administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support event goals and schedules.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
- Dependable, punctual, and proactive attitude.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments with a team-oriented mindset.
- Pay range: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
