LaBelle Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. We perform a wide range of residential and commercial projects throughout the Capital Region and Adirondacks, including renovations, remodels, decks, siding, framing, commercial maintenance, and specialty construction work.
Responsibilities Lead and manage crews on job sites Read and interpret plans and specifications
Perform framing, finish carpentry, siding, decking, trim, and general construction tasks
Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors as needed
Maintain quality control and job site safety Communicate professionally with clients, project managers, and team members
Train and mentor carpenters and laborers
Requirements
5 years of carpentry experience Experience in both residential and commercial construction
Ability to work independently and lead a crew
Strong knowledge of framing, finish work, siding, windows, doors, decks, and general construction practices
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Own hand tools required
OSHA certifications are a plus
