Job Description
Since 1995, PRI Plus has been providing pressure sensitive paper constructions designed to adhere to a variety of applications to the Label Printing Industry.
PRI Plus is looking to fill a position for a Machine Operator M-F 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
The machine operator is responsible for setting up the roll of paper on press and slitting to a specific width and length per the customer order.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Setting up machine to slit product to customer specifications.
- Load rolls onto press.
- Inspect quality of rolls before production begins and continuously check the quality of the product as it is produced.
- Properly document quality inspections.
- Remove rolls in a timely manner.
- Complete Lockout/Tagout training sessions.
- Relay safety incidents or concerns to management.
- Understand and follow all safety procedures and policies.
- Drive forklift (training will be provided).
- Willing to cross train.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.
- Basic math and proof-reading skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve and communicate clearly with production & manager.
- Work well independently.
- Willing to cross train on various equip.
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per day.
