Since 1995, PRI Plus has specialized in manufacturing label constructions engineered to perform across a wide range of Label Printing Industry applications.
PRI Plus is seeking a full-time Process Engineer to join its team. This position is responsible for the following: Design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves evaluating existing processes, implementing improvements, supporting production teams, operating and running production equipment, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Analyze existing production workflow and identify opportunities for efficiency & quality.
- Develop work procedures, SOP's, and process documentation.
- Establish KPI's and basic production metrics.
- Support troubleshooting of production issues and root cause.
- Assist with layout optimization, material flow, and process consistency.
- Train production staff on new procedures.
- Operate equipment.
- Development and implementation of Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
- Create and maintain ISO quality documentation including procedures, records, & forms
- Help prepare and organize certification audits.
- Ensure quality systems are integrated into daily operations.
- Support corrective and preventative action activities (CAPA).
- Help promote quality, consistency, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree required; technical or engineering-related field preferred.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical environment preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a production or quality control environment preferred.
- Basic organizational, mathematical, and proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to problem-solve and communicate clearly with both production staff and management.
- Strong understanding of process documentation and quality records.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift, stand for extended periods, and perform inspections.
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems preferred but not required.
- Experience in coating, converting, or printing processes preferred but not required.
