What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator position at Laars Heating Systems Company?
Responsibilities:
- Works with functional or operational area managers to identify the staffing/training gaps
- Source candidates using a variety of methods including job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and industry events
- Screen resumes, conduct phone or virtual interviews, and coordinates in-person interviews
- Management of the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions β from job posting to offer acceptance
- Assist with the internal placement of new employees into appropriate open jobs
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs
- Represent the organization as an employer of choice by promoting company culture, values, and career growth opportunities.
- Support new hire orientation and simplify transition to department supervisors
- Support the Talent Acquisition team with additional short- and long-term projects or assignments
- Initiate background checks, I-9 verification, and new hire paperwork
- Perform additional HR duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource, business, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast paced, customer focused manufacturing environment
- UKG, Kronos, or equivalent HCM/HRIS experience is preferred
- Well-developed problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross functionally among other areas of the business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
