Laan Thai is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. We are seeking someone who is dependable, works well under pressure, and is committed to delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints.
- Monitor food quality, preparation, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock levels.
- Monitor sales, labor costs, food costs, and other operating expenses.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace regulations.
- Handle cash, deposits, and daily financial reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Implement company policies and procedures.
- Assist with marketing, promotions, and strategies to increase sales.
- Lead the team during busy periods and respond effectively to operational issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required; hospitality or business education is a plus.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, staffing, and daily operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
