Hiring Position: Medical Assistant/ Chiropractic Physiotherapist
Qualifications
- No prior experience required, but previous experience in a medical office would be beneficial to the position
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology a plus
- Familiarity with medical office procedures
- Ability to provide medical administrative support
- Comfortable with patient care and services
- All training to be completed in the office by the Doctors of Chiropractic
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Assist the doctors in forms of therapy/exams in the office: performing stretches with practice members, electrical stimulation, running scans, etc.
Educate and motivate practice members.
Help prepare the office in the morning along with light cleaning throughout the day
New practice member processing: filling out paperwork, consultation, etc.
Hours: Full Time (16-18 hours)
Monday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm, Tuesday 7:30 am – 12:00 pm, Wednesday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm, Thursdays Off (Unless we are closed on Friday, then we may be open on Thursday instead), Friday 7:30 am – 12:00 pm
*Ending times are dependent on the last practice member appointment. Time will be or – 15 min roughly.
Pay:
Starting pay is $17/hour.
Benefits: Benefits: $75 contribution monthly (starting after 30 days working) to be used towards an HSA account or towards a medical insurance premium. At 90 days of employment, an additional benefit of seven part time days paid time off will be included in the employee's contract.
Training:
The new employee will be fully trained at the position. Weekly meetings are held to continue training along with specific chiropractic assistant classes.
