Job Description: Student Front Office works under the general administration and supervision of the Department
Manager: Reports to Department Manager
Period of Agreement: Summer and Fall
Based at: Student Wellness Services, La Sierra University, Riverside, CA
Hours: 12 hours
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Experience: Previous office work experience. Students with a background in business
healthcare management preferred. CPR and First Aid certified
Availability: Must be available to work from 1-5pm pm Monday through Thursday.
Skills: Good interpersonal relationship skills and collaborative attitude is a must. Also, must be
able to work independently, and retrieve information quickly and efficiently. Accuracy, full
concentration, and absolute confidentiality are required. Typing skills and excellent computer
Knowledge Skills Are Essential.
Physical/Mental Demands: Indoor office environment. Light work involves minimum physical
effort and washing vehicle and golf cart. Occasional lifting as needed.
Wage Range: 16.90-17.30/hr

- Routine office tasks.
- Answering phone calls.
- Scheduling appointments, filing and maintaining patient records.
- Preparation of patient charts in the Electronic Medical Record (Point & Click).
- Must have updated computer knowledge and ability to work with Banner, Microsoft Office
- Assisting with maintenance and cleanliness of the work area and lobby areas.
- Assisting with registration clearance.
- Participate in Student Orientations, program planning, and other tasks as assigned by senior
- Assisting Medical Assistant in monitoring and restocking over-the-counter medicines and
- Assisting Medical Assistant with the packaging of over-the-counter medications.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
