Job Title: Cashier / Meat Market Assistant
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join La Reyna Meat Market team. This position includes working at the register, assisting customers with meat orders, stocking merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. The ideal candidate must be customer-service oriented, responsible, and willing to help in different areas of the market.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register and handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Assist customers by handing meats and products requested by the butcher or counter staff
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise
- Keep work area, counters, and floors clean and organized
- Help with general store cleanup, including trash removal and sanitizing surfaces
- Label, bag, and organize products when needed
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
- Assist other employees as needed
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
Work Schedule:
Full-time / Part-time available
Weekends and holiday are required
