Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
- Follow food safety management protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
- Support with light cleaning duties such as wiping down surfaces, sweeping floors, and organizing supplies to ensure a tidy environment
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated food preparation skills within a restaurant or catering setting
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
- Experience operating kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with culinary techniques, wine knowledge, and catering operations is advantageous
- Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently
