Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, buffing, waxing, and applying protective finishes to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained
- Assist with hotel-related duties such as replenishing supplies, changing linens, and ensuring guest areas are tidy and inviting
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks including waste removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards
- Support custodial operations by managing industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, utilizing appropriate equipment and cleaning agents
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to prioritize tasks and address specific cleaning requests or special projects
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and maintained in good working condition
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable
