Responsibilities
- Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision and safety.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry materials, ensuring proper handling of textiles and materials.
- Use appropriate laundry detergents and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely using push carts or other equipment to transport linens and garments.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents during manual handling and materials transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sanitation of machines and work surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and textile care.
- Ability to operate garment care machinery safely and efficiently.
- Experience with sanitation standards in production environments.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating loads, or managing inventory.
