Join our team at La Quinta Inn & Suites Durango as a Breakfast Service Associate! In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and cleaning the hotel's complimentary breakfast area.
Duties
- Setting up and replenishing food and beverages
- Ensuring food is properly presented and stored
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Assisting guests with questions or requests
- Complete kitchen and dining area cleaning throughout the breakfast period
- Provides friendly, efficient service while ensuring a clean, welcoming breakfast experience for all guests
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving supplies or linens.
- Understanding of safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical agents used in cleaning processes.
- Experience with hotel emergency procedures and maintaining high standards of sanitation in hospitality environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
