Job Summary
We are currently seeking weekend housekeepers with the availability to work weekdays also as needed.
Start time is 8am/9am.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Proficient in various cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
- Experience in floor care practices including carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
