Job Summary
The School-Based Mental Health Provider delivers direct mental health and social-emotional supports to students in grades TK–8, with a focus on Tier 2 supports (targeted interventions) and Tier 3 supports (intensive interventions) to include classroom supports, group and individual counseling, and Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS). This role collaborates closely with school staff, families, and community resources to promote student well-being, resilience, and academic success.
Requirements / Qualifications
Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) with specialization in School Social Work is required. Valid licensure through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or complete required hours and obtain licensure within six months of employment date . Valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites is required. Please ensure all document requirements listed below are attached.
