Overview
A well-established real estate & construction company in Montgomery County, PA is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team immediately. This position is fully onsite and supports a growing accounting department following a recent business acquisition. Ideal candidates bring strong AP experience, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Due to a recent acquisition and the closing of one business entity, the team is restructuring and has an urgent need for an experienced AP professional. The position is newly opened and ready for an ASAP hire.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and sites.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas needing attention.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting regulations.
- Maintain organized vendor files and documentation.
- Open, sort, stamp, and process incoming mail.
- Print checks and match to invoices.
- Serve as back-up receptionist as needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience.
- Construction or real estate industry background.
- Strong Excel skills (comfortable with spreadsheets, sorting/filtering, basic formulas).
- Yardi experience (Sage or Timberline will also be considered).
- Job costing, AIA billing, and/or WIP experience.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
