Active Radiator is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team in Philadelphia. This position is responsible for day-to-day Accounts Payable activities including invoice processing, vendor account maintenance, discrepancy resolution, payment support, and assisting with month-end activities.

What You'll Do
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation, coding, and approvals.
- Match invoices with purchase orders, receiving documentation, and other supporting records.
- Enter and maintain Accounts Payable transactions in the Company's accounting system.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and processing issues.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements.
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, credits, payments, and account discrepancies.
- Assist with vendor setup and maintenance, including obtaining required vendor documentation.
- Assist with preparation and processing of vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate payment and Accounts Payable records.
- Participate in month-end Accounts Payable activities and assist with reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist with annual vendor tax reporting and 1099 preparation.
- Work with employees across Company locations to resolve invoice, approval, and receiving issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized Accounts Payable documentation.
- Follow established Accounts Payable procedures and internal controls.
- Assist with special projects and other Accounting department responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience preferred.
- Experience processing invoices and working with vendor accounts preferred.
- Experience with vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancy resolution is a plus.
- Experience using an ERP or accounting system preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general business software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of transactions and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research routine discrepancies.
- Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively with vendors and employees.
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or multi-location environment is a plus.
