The La Honda Pescadero Unified School District provides PreK-12 educational and community support for the children, families, and South Coast communities of La Honda, Pescadero, Loma Mar, and San Gregorio. From coastal frontage to the Santa Cruz Mountains ridge tops, LHPUSD serves the academic needs of approximately 300 students spread across 160 square miles, the largest San Mateo County school district geographically, simultaneously serving the smallest student population. Who We Are We are a diverse district on the South Coast of San Mateo County. Spanning over 165 square miles of beaches, fields, creeks and redwoods, we serve 300 students in three schools PreK-12th grade.
