Western Hat Bar Associate - LA Herradura Western Wear

La Herradura Western Wear is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Professional Hat Shaper to join our team at our Selma, NC location. This is an in-person position responsible for shaping hats to customer preference, providing excellent service, and helping maintain the quality and appearance of our western hat selection. We provide training, so no experience is okay.

Responsibilities:

• Shape and steam hats based on customer preferences and requested style
• Provide stamping, hot iron branding, and full customization for customers' felt and straw hats
• Assist customers with hat fit, style selection, and care recommendations
• Offering feathers and other accessories for the customer's hat
• Maintain the quality and presentation of hats in the store
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times
• Keep the hat shaping area clean, organized, and ready for use
• Inspect hats for condition and prepare them for shaping or cleaning services
• Work closely with team members to support store operations and customer satisfaction
• Represent La Herradura Western Wear in a professional manner

Qualifications:

• Experience shaping western hats preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
• Interest in western wear and hat styling is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a big plus, but not required
