Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery, mechanical equipment, and facilities. The applicant should possess basic skills and an understanding of the ability to learn areas where they may not be proficient. Areas of work include HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, and carpentry. In addition, grounds work, including snow removal, tree and chainsaw work, will be required.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, facilities, and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair as needed
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues and bring them to the attention of the Facilities and Grounds Director
- Fabricate parts when needed
- As may be required, utilize systems for tracking work orders
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and center guests
Requirements
- Experience in facilities and hands-on maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and center guests. Be respectful of the various groups the center may serve. Be able to interact with customers in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to follow a schedule and planned tasks.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics
- Ability to fabricate parts when necessary
- Proficiency or the ability to adapt and learn CMMS for maintenance tracking
- Welding skills are a plus
- Ability to work under the direction of the Facilities and Grounds Director and work efficiently while unsupervised
- Must be able to pass a state-required background check

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
