Duties
- Develop and execute strategic plans for territory management to maximize sales opportunities
- Identify and generate new leads through lead generation, cold calling, and networking
- Conduct compelling product demos and presentations to prospective clients
- Manage existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Engage in inside sales activities, including follow-up calls and email communications
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively, utilizing strong negotiation skills
- Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to increase revenue
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns for lead generation
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities within CRM software, such as Salesforce
- Provide ongoing customer service support, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Track market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or related fields such as retail sales or technology sales
- Demonstrated success in territory management, lead generation, and closing deals through direct sales methods
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships
- Strong understanding of sales management, including pipeline development, analysis skills, and forecasting
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills suitable for engaging diverse clients
- Experience with management roles or leading sales teams is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting or exceeding sales targets
