Janitorial Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping to preserve the appearance of various flooring surfaces.
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment for large or heavily soiled areas.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues that require professional attention.
• Support custodial operations by organizing cleaning supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to promote a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, with knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning practices.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and polishing.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
• Previous experience with facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus but not required.

Pay: $16.90 - $19.00 per hour
