- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor scrubbers
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold a pristine environment
- Conduct routine trash removal, recycling collection, and waste disposal in compliance with safety standards
- Carry out specialized cleaning tasks including carpet shampooing, floor buffing, and surface sanitization to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or repairing fixtures as needed
- Support facilities maintenance by inspecting for safety hazards and reporting issues promptly
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and equipment operation enhances your suitability for this role
