What You’ll Do
- Outside marketing is the #1 priority — leave the gym daily to talk to people on the street, in plazas, at local businesses, and at events
- Collect names and phone numbers and hand out guest passes to build a steady pipeline every week
- Follow up fast — call and text every lead to book appointments and confirm them
- Get appointments to show up through reminder calls, texts, and strong rapport
- Run club tours and close new memberships every shift
- Hit weekly KPIs on names collected, guest passes out, appointments booked, shows, and sales
- Handle customer service at the front desk — greet members, check IDs, answer questions, resolve small issues
- Help run the gym day-to-day — opening/closing tasks, cleanliness walks, team huddles, and supporting the manager
- Shadow leadership and learn Assistant Manager responsibilities as you grow into the role
What We’re Looking For
- Full-time availability: 40 hours per week, including evenings and BOTH Saturday and Sunday (non-negotiable)
- Comfortable approaching strangers in public and starting conversations — this is the heart of the job
- Sales, promotions, hospitality, or customer service experience strongly preferred
- Strong communicator — confident in person, on the phone, and over text
- Competitive and coachable: you want feedback, you apply it, you get better fast
- Reliable and punctual — your team and members count on you
- Goal-oriented; you like having a number to hit
- Willing to wear multiple hats — sales, service, and helping run the club
- Passion for fitness is a major plus
- Must be able to stand, walk the club, and move around the community throughout your shift
Compensation & Benefits
- $14.00 per hour, no commission — straightforward, predictable pay while you learn the system the right way
