Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all club areas, including floors, restrooms, locker rooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct routine floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when necessary to ensure large-scale or deep-clean projects are completed efficiently
• Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed for equipment or infrastructure to ensure a safe environment
• Maintain cleanliness logs and complete shift reports to document completed tasks and any issues encountered
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
• Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently while following established safety guidelines and procedures
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
