Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces throughout the club.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping to maintain a polished appearance.
• Handle custodial responsibilities for both commercial and residential areas, ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain facilities by performing light repairs, painting touch-ups, and assisting with general maintenance to uphold safety and appearance.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial cleaning tools efficiently and safely.
• Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, including deep cleaning of large areas or specialized equipment.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a secure work environment.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and polishing is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and painting is a plus.
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures ensures effective job performance.
• Previous porter or custodial roles that demonstrate reliability and attention to detail are advantageous.
