Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all club areas.
- Handle cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial tools with proper safety protocols.
- Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and floor care procedures to ensure a polished appearance.
- Safely handle chemical agents used for sanitation and cleaning, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist with general facilities maintenance including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team members.
- This position is for Sunday 3PM-8PM and Monday-Thursday 6AM-10AM
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of custodial equipment
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow chemical handling safety procedures.
- Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices for heavy objects.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with club members and staff when necessary.
- Experience with industrial cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and upkeep of cleaning tools and equipment.
