In this position, a successful candidate will:
- Maintain and promote a safe and healthy work environment through cGMP, and ISO standards while complying with legal regulation.
- Help ensure that only acceptable products are delivered to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform direct oversight of production/compounding activity to ensure cGMP compliance.
- Verify production/compounding area cleanliness, and equipment start-up with line clearance documentation.
- Inspect and authorize the use of designated equipment after cleaning and sanitization.
- Document non-conformances and recognize deviations correcting as needed.
- Monitor work in process for proper use of materials, correct recordings, and possible. sources of cross-contamination and report all deviations to the QA Supervisor.
- Maintaining records of inspection and testing through an electronic system.
- Perform real-time Batch Record Reviews on the floor during daily operation.
This position requires a proactive person who will be a part of a team to eliminate obstacles and increase productivity.
Cross-functional exposure to other areas of operations including:
- Quality control of packaging and labeling compliance.
- Quality control of Raw materials including sampling, collection, and review to support receiving.
- Supporting Quality control technician roles in production batch approvals and OOS remedies to verify compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate closely with third-party laboratories and manage sample submissions.
- Proofing Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to ensure industry standards and regulations are met.
- Generate Certificates of Manufacture.
This is a dynamic position that maintains both office and manufacturing floor work.
Requirements:
The candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in FDA-regulated industries, is preferred with knowledge of GMP
High school education or GED equivalency required, Associates Degree is preferred.
A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role is preferred
