Job Summary
Join the La Delicia Michoacana team as an Ice Cream and Snack Bar Crew Member! In this role, you will provide friendly customer service while preparing and serving paletas, ice cream, aguas frescas, fruit cups, Mexican snacks, and other delicious treats. You will take customer orders, process payments, keep the shop clean and organized, and help create a welcoming experience for every guest. This paid position is perfect for someone who is energetic, dependable, and enjoys working with people in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Prepare and serve paletas, ice cream, fruit cups, aguas frescas, snacks, and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Take customer orders and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
- Recommend flavors, toppings, combinations, and featured menu items to customers.
- Restock ingredients, toppings, utensils, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized counters, preparation areas, equipment, and customer seating areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to provide fast and friendly service during busy hours.
- Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as assigned.
