Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, including serving baked goods or light snacks
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Support team members in maintaining a positive work environment
Experience
- Prior experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus
- Strong skills in customer service, sales, and serving are essential
- Basic math skills, including retail math, cash handling, and café operations knowledge, are necessary for accurate transactions
- Experience with food safety protocols, food preparation, and food handling is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $22.00 per hour
