Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed massage therapist to join our team as a Post-Op Specialist. This is a part-time, 1099 position.
Post-operative experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate in our specialized techniques. We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
• Perform post-operative lymphatic drainage massages
• Follow our specific post-op techniques and protocols
• Provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience for clients
• Assist with dressing clients in post-op garments (faja)
• Monitor client comfort and communicate effectively during sessions
• Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of treatment rooms
• Work alongside staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:• Active massage therapy license (required)
• Strong communication and professionalism
• Gentle touch and attention to detailcritical for post-op care)
• Willingness to learn and follow a structured technique
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working with post-surgical clients (body fluid, blood)
Compensation:
• Commission-based pay per session (based on experience)$40-$45
• Additional commission on post-op products sold
• Part-time schedule
