Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space
- Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guest tables accurately and promptly
- Ensure all food handling and serving procedures adhere to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, following safe handling practices
- Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle manual lifting of heavy trays, boxes, or equipment safely and efficiently during service shifts
- Maintain clear communication with team members using effective verbal skills to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST is a plus for supporting order accuracy and guest transactions
- Experience in customer service roles that involve in-person interaction with guests is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic food preparation enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices during busy service periods
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and provide excellent guest services
