DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY:
- Execute white-glove tray service with silent efficiency in guest rooms and suites.
- Master multi-course meal sequencing (appetizers to desserts) with proper temperature control.
- Personalize setups: from reading breakfast cards to remembering VIP preferences (favorite jam, tea strength).
- Ensure plating integrity upon arrival (no smudged sauces, wilted garnishes).
- Artfully arrange trays with luxury touches: fresh flowers, embossed menu cards, proper stemware.
- Maintain pristine service equipment (polished cloches, spotless linen napkins).
- Navigate guest rooms with invisible service (quiet knocks, muted tones).
- Preempt needs: extra cutlery before requested, discreet crumbing between courses.
- Handle special requests with urgency (allergy alternatives, last-minute additions).
- Coordinate closely with kitchen on timing for complex orders (e.g., soufflés, tableside finishes).
- Manage inventory of in-room dining assets (minibar keys, charge slips, specialty menus).
- Conduct post-service quality checks (remove trays promptly, reset hallways to silent elegance).
- Maintain impeccable grooming standards, wearing the assigned uniform exactly as specified (proper fit, cleanliness, and presentation at all times.
- Wear the official hotel lapel pin prominently as part of the uniform requirement, unless embroidered onto uniform.
- Perform all other duties that may be assigned as needed by your manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- (2/3) years of experience as a server, luxury hotel and/or resort preferred
- Ability to be standing and walking long periods of time
- Multilingual abilities highly preferred
- Capable of maintaining composure during peak hours
- Capability to push, carry, and lift service carts and trays (Up to 25-50 lbs)
- Flexible to work in different shifts, including early morning, weekends, and holidays
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
