We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Executive to drive the growth and market presence of E. Leon Jimenes Rum across the country. This pivotal role will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with our distributor partners, overseeing strategic consulting initiatives, and collaborating closely with our marketing team to execute impactful national campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the spirits industry, exceptional sales acumen, and a proven track record of achieving ambitious sales targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Distributor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key contacts within our national distributor partners to ensure optimal product placement, inventory management, and sales execution.
● Consulting Firm Oversight: Provide strategic oversight and guidance to our external consulting firm, ensuring alignment with company objectives and maximizing their effectiveness in market development.
● Programming Collaboration: Assist and collaborate directly with the consulting firm on the development and implementation of innovative sales programs, promotions, and market activation strategies in both the on- and off-premise.
● National Campaign Strategy: Work closely with the marketing team to strategize, develop, and execute national marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive consumer demand on- and off-premise.
● National Event Facilitation: Plan, organize, and facilitate participation in key national events, trade shows, and industry gatherings to promote our brand and products.
● Depletion Report Analysis: Regularly review and analyze depletion reports with the consulting team to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and inform future sales strategies.
● Blitz Week Participation: Actively participate in and lead sales blitz weeks in key markets, working alongside distributor teams to drive immediate sales and build brand presence.
● Staff Rum Tastings: Host engaging and informative rum tastings for distributor staff, retail partners, and other relevant stakeholders to educate them on our products and brand story.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Proven experience in national sales within the alcoholic beverage industry, preferably spirits.
● Strong understanding of distributor networks and route-to-market strategies.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
● Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
● Willingness to travel extensively as required.
● Proficiency in sales reporting and analysis tools.
● Passion for rum and the spirits industry.

COMPENSATION:
· $90,000 – 115,000 starting salary with 10-30% Bonus contingent upon experience and qualifications.
