This role requires the manager to live on-site to ensure the efficient management and oversight of the property. As the primary point of contact, the Property Manager must be prepared to respond promptly to any emergencies at their assigned building.Responsibilities:-- Leasing and collections--Executing leases, serving legal notices--Monitoring and coordinating outside vendors-- Providing professional, prompt, and efficient tenant support--Recording and tracking completion of work orders--Ensuring compliance with property rules and regulations--Performing light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing batteries, general cleaning)--Maintain property curb appeal-- Facilitating communication between tenants, support staff, and management-- Ensuring high occupancy rates and achieving top market rents--Computer proficient: Excel, Microsoft, and Outlook (daily data entry of above listed duties).--Inspecting and approving unit turnovers with vendorsQualifications:-- 1 year property management experience is required-- Sales experience/Customer service experience a plus-- A positive attitude, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and a strong passion for proactive and efficient work-- Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; a strong bias for action is essential-- Strong problem-solving skills, multitasking abilities and work ethic-- Must have a valid Drivers License and reliable Transportation-- Proficiency with PC-based or Mac-based systems, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, is essential-- Experience with Rent Manager is desired but is not required--No Evictions or BankruptciesExperience with 30 days noticeFamiliar with Fair Housing Regulations-- Bilingual: Fluent Spanish speaker REQUIREDCompensation: Comp’ed rent (1 bedroom 1 bathroom)Company DescriptionLA Apartments, a leader and fast-growing multi-family company is in search of a talented bilingual Maintenance Coordinator.
