WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- You will play a key part in producing high-quality wire harnesses and electronic assemblies that support aircraft safety, reliability, and performance. You will:
- Perform incoming inspection of kits and materials.
- Execute laser marking and alternate wire identification processes.
- Create bag and harness labels for production accuracy.
- Prep wires by stripping, crimping, and installing solder sleeves.
- Terminate wires into electrical connectors with precision.
- Build harnesses using form boards, engineering drawings, and standard wiring practices.
- Conduct continuity checks and functional verification.
- Assist with final bagging and kitting.
- Work with complex terminations such as Quadrax and Coax.
- Operate avionics test equipment, including digital multimeters and TDRs.
- Follow all SOPs, wiring practices (SWP), and applicable FAA requirements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, including SOP revisions.
- Maintain tool control, cleanliness, and quality standards.
WHAT YOU BRING:

- Familiarity with aircraft standard wiring practices.
- Skilled with precision hand tools.
- Awareness of electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions.
- Soldering experience (IPC-610 or J-STD-001 certifications a plus).
- Ability to interpret color codes, drawings, and schematics.
- High school diploma or trade school equivalent.
- Basic computer and strong communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new tasks.
- Ability to meet deadlines and support overtime/weekend needs.
- Strong work ethic and dependability.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug testing and any applicable company/FAA Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program that may be required.
- Must be able to pass required background checks, including a 10-year TSA check if airport access or badging is required.
