What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Lead position at L&T Technology Services?
Technical Direction & Strategy:
- Defines the technical roadmap and architecture for the squad's projects.
- Adopts, implements, and enforces technical standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Makes decisions on programming languages and technology stacks.
- Engineering Excellence & Code Quality:
- Performs code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Oversees testing and release procedures.
- Team Guidance & Mentorship:
- Mentors developers, particularly junior members, to improve their technical skills.
- Provides technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance
- Project Delivery & Collaboration:
- Breaks down technical requirements into actionable tasks and contributes to sprint planning.
- Collaborates with product owners and stakeholders to define project requirements.
- Facilitates communication between the team and external stakeholders.
- Common Competencies:
- Problem-Solving: Acts as a "firefighter" for technical hurdles.
- Leadership & Communication: Fosters collaboration and manages conflict within the team.

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 to $1,30,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
