What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at L&T Technology Services?
We are seeking experienced Process Engineers to support manufacturing operations within an FDA-regulated biologics and aseptic processing environment. This role will focus on process optimization, troubleshooting, validation support, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with cross-functional manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on engineering support for manufacturing processes and resolve process/equipment issues in collaboration with production teams.
- Lead investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), deviations, CAPAs, and corrective actions to improve process reliability and performance.
- Support validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, continued process verification (CPV), process monitoring, and change control.
- Partner with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure compliant and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Support line trials, process improvements, startup activities, and manufacturing scale-up initiatives.
- Drive improvements in yield, throughput, quality, and waste reduction through data-driven decision making.
- Assist Project Engineering activities from URS development through FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 7–10 years of Process Engineering experience within FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience supporting biologics manufacturing and aseptic processing operations.
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting live production processes and resolving manufacturing issues.
- Experience with deviations, investigations, CAPA management, change control, and process optimization.
- Working knowledge of validation lifecycle activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ and CPV.
- Ability to work full-time onsite and collaborate directly with manufacturing operators and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting startup facilities, technology transfer, or new product introductions.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, FMEA, CPV, and reliability improvement methodologies.
- Experience with SAP, MES, Power BI, or similar manufacturing systems.
Salary : $55 - $60
