Position Summary
Set-up, operate, repair & maintain knitting machines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure machines are operating at optimal productivity and quality standards.
- Responsible for the setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting of computerized flatbed and whole garment knitting machines.
- Steam and measure all garments to ensure quality standards.
- Responsible for limited fabrication of select products.
- Maintain and upkeep knitting machines as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in textile machine operation.
- Strong mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft office)
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Intermediate math aptitude.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
