What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic II position at L'Oreal USA, Inc?
JOB SUMMARY
This multi-craft position is responsible for maintaining all components of the conveyor system and building systems as well as assisting with external vendors and contractors as required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability todemonstrateaworking knowledge of troubleshooting and replacing electrical controlcomponents.
- General knowledge of building systems(i.e.,wetsprinkler systems,compressed air systems,and plumbing)
- General knowledge of HVAC systems including split systems,make-upairunits, airhandling units, gas regulators and components andsupply/exhaustsystems,etc.
- Ability todemonstrateworking knowledge of building electrical systems including 480V, 277V, 208V, 120Vand24 VDCsystems.
- Conform to LOTO site procedures for allequipment.
- Conducting preventive maintenance (PMs)on building and conveyor systemsin established timelines
- Working knowledge of theMicrosoft Office Suite including, Outlook and Word
- Responsible for daily communication of all pertinent informationregardingbuilding infrastructure, systems operation,and maintenance to departmentalmanagement and maintenance team
- Responsible for housekeeping andcleanupofmaintenance andproject areason a dailybasis.
- Ability tointerpret specifications, schematics,operationand maintenance manuals,etc
- Assists Maintenance Manager in developing standard operating procedures, daily work schedules, and duty cycles for all repairs and maintenance for conveyor, building, HVAC,and electricalsystems.
- AssisttheMaintenance Manager in managing 3rdparty building, mechanical, HVAC, and electrical contractors conducting service, repair,and new contractwork.
- Diagnose and perform general mechanical and electrical equipment repairs including lightfabrication.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (To include relevant work experience, competencies, and education requirements):
- 2years inIndustrial Maintenancepreferred.
- 2 years of conveyor repair experiencepreferred.
- Require prior knowledge and usage of Lockout/Tagout Procedures.
- Prior forklift certification/experiencepreferred.
- Prior scissor lift experiencepreferred.
- Knowledgeof lightmigweldingand mountingsystems fabrication.
- Familiar with GMP's.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well asindividually.
- Ability to shift working hours asrequiredto complete projects andcomponentreplacements.
- High school diploma or GEDrequired.
