Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory processes (receiving, labeling, tracking, accuracy checks)
- Create and maintain First Article Inspection (FAI) forms and quality documentation
- Perform daily balancing of shop employee hours (review, verify, finalize)
- Provide shop floor data support — helping operators use the ERP system correctly
- Write, update, and maintain safety programs and all required safety documentation
- Schedule safety training with external vendors and coordinate consultant activities
- Plan and lead weekly safety meetings
- Track employee training, certifications, and renewal dates
- Lead ERP initiatives in Global Shop Solutions, including implementing and maintaining a work order system for equipment and building maintenance
- Support occasional business development and innovation projects (evaluating new technologies, assisting with marketing or sales tasks as needed)
- Participate in cross-training to ensure continuity of operations across key functions
- Assist with additional responsibilities that support team and operational needs
Schedule
Full‑time, Monday–Friday, starting at 6:30 AM. This salaried role may involve variable weekly hours depending on workload. Employees may choose to work additional time earlier in the week to allow for a shorter Friday.
What You Bring
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, filtering, basic analysis)
- Experience in inventory, safety, manufacturing, databases, or ERP systems
- Ability to learn new software quickly and support others in using it
- Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
- Clear, professional communication
Preferred
- Familiarity with Global Shop Solutions or other ERP systems
- Experience with quality control, safety programs, or training development
- Experience supporting shop floor or production environments
